We suggest washing the hair at least twice a week or more. For long, and curly hair use a combination of 2/3 shampoo with 1/3 moisturizing conditioner, rinse and reapply conditioner. Leave the conditioner in while combing out hair with a wide tooth comb. Rinse and style as usual.
For extra shine use Biosilk, or Cy-clone Cream by Sebastian. Always brush thoroughly between each row before putting your hair in two big braids. This is important before swimming,  exercising, and sleep. Remember to hold the weft in place at the scalp when brushing, or combing. This will keep your hair from any sort of  stress, or alopecia traction.
NEVER CUT THE WIDTH OF YOUR WEFT this is along the top where the threads are tied together, this is referred to as wefting. There is no problem cutting the length, but cutting the width will cause the weft to come apart. This is why it is important to use a tape measure from ear to ear and just below the occipital bone to get the correct custom measurement.
You are probably wondering.....why use hand tied hair in the first place? Good question! Hand tied wefts have always been more secure than machine made wefts. Hand tied wefts do not shed, and are made perfectly fitted to your own head. It has always been a rule of thumb to use the more expensive hair in hand made wefts. Machine wefts will shed at the spot where it has been cut. We believe our hair is too valuable to take that chance.
When washing the hair squeeze the shampoo from top to bottom in the downward direction. A wide tooth comb or vent brush are suggested for combing the hair before rinsing out the moisturizing conditioner.
Before swimming, exercise, or sleeping be sure and brush all rows out thoroughly, and put in two big braids.  Remember to always wash hair  thoroughly after swimming or spa. Most pools with chlorine are not recommended. It is important not to mix hair with anything other than unprocessed human hair.
*It is very important not to sleep on wet, or damp hair.
When styling, dampen and scrunch with a diffuser to bring back curls in wavy or curly hair. Comb through with fingers only as brushing tends to straighten the wefts. Flat irons, and curling irons both work well. But, remember to use on a lower setting for high lift blonde colors.  Try to air dry whenever possible. These instructions are best for maintaining the life, and beauty of your Russian hair.

***It is very important to shampoo your new hair before you install it. Make sure it is the color, and texture you ordered. There is no monetary refund, only exchange if by chance you received the wrong order. Please double check by shampooing the hair and allowing it to air dry.  This is the best way to be sure this is the color, texture, and curl you ordered.
Also, be sure to see the explanation for our unprocessed hair and why proper after care is important.
For those with itchy or sensitive scalp the weft can be flipped over with the returns on the outside.
